Air-Oil Separators

The air-oil separator is one of the most critical components in a rotary screw compressor. After compression, it pulls oil back out of the air stream so the delivered air meets its purity target and oil consumption stays where it belongs.

A separator that is worn, blocked or simply the wrong specification quietly costs money. Oil carry-over rises, pressure drop climbs, and the compressor works harder to hold the same outlet pressure, so energy use goes up and downstream equipment is put at risk. Replacing the separator on schedule, with a correctly matched element, is one of the cheapest ways to protect a compressed air system.

Conventional wrap

The economical, proven design: microglass media wrapped around a support tube. Correctly sized to the compressor's flow and pressure, it gives dependable separation with a low clean pressure drop.

Depth wrap

Popular on European compressors. Additional layers of multi-grade media handle a higher oil challenge rate, for demanding or high-temperature duty where standard wraps struggle.

Pleated

Pleated media multiplies the effective coalescing area and airflow capacity, useful where space is tight relative to the flow required.

Spin-on

The element sits in a pressure-rated canister, like an oil filter. Quick to change and ideal for compact cabinets with limited service access.
